INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR





(a) Install the 2 air fuel ratio sensors to the exhaust manifold by the hand.
(b) Using SST, tighten the 2 air fuel ratio sensors.





SST: 09224-00010
without SST - Torque: 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
with SST - Torque: 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)
HINT:
- Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.8 in.). If using a torque wrench with a length that is not 30 cm (11.8 in.), calculate the torque specification for the torque wrench and SST based on the "without SST" torque specification Service Precautions.
- Make sure SST and the wrench are connected in a straight line.

(c) Connect the 2 air fuel ratio sensor connectors and 4 clamps.





2. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK
