2TR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: MASS AIR FLOW METER: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. CHECK MASS AIR FLOW METER

(a) Check the mass air flow value.

(1) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(2) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(3) Turn the Techstream on.

(4) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / All Data / MAF.

(5) Blow air into the mass air flow meter and check that the mass air flow meter value fluctuates.









(6) If the result is not as specified, replace the mass air flow meter.

If the result is within the specified range, inspect the mass air flow meter Inspection.
