Reassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat): REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Engage the 8 clamps and install the front seat wire.

2. INSTALL SEAT POSITION SENSOR Installation

3. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) Installation

4. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT (w/ Active Headrest)

(a) Install the 2 nuts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

(b) Install the active headrest lower unit with the new clamp.

5. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST UPPER UNIT (w/ Active Headrest)

(a) Install the active headrest upper unit with the 4 nuts.

Torque : 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the cable to the active headrest upper unit with the nut as shown in the illustration.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER

(a) Engage the claw as shown in the illustration.

(b) Engage the claw and install the front seat outer track bracket cover as shown in the illustration.

7. INSTALL SEAT TRACK CONTROL CABLE CLAMP

(a) Engage the clamp and install the seat track control cable clamp.

8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

(a) Engage the claw and install the front seat lower cushion shield RH as shown in the illustration.

9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

(a) Engage the claw and install the front seat lower cushion shield LH as shown in the illustration.

10. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the screw.

11. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the screw.

12. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the screw.

13. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

(1) Engage the clamp.

(b) Engage the guide.

(c) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the screw.

14. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT PLATE (for TMMC, NUMMI Made)

(a) Engage the 2 hooks and install the lumbar support plate.

15. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

(a) Using a tacker, install the front seatback heater assembly to the end of the seatback cover with the 4 tack pins.

16. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover with 4 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
17. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Temporarily install the front seatback cover with pad to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

(b) Engage the 4 claws and install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
* For vehicles with side airbags, the side airbags may not be activated normally unless the front seatback cover is securely installed.
* Check that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.
* Install the bracket securely.
(d) Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
(e) Using hog ring pliers, install the front seatback cover with pad with 4 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
18. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

(a) Using a tacker, install the front seat cushion heater assembly to the end of the seat cushion cover with the 8 tack pins.

19. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover with 10 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR

(a) Install the 2 front seat cushion edge protectors.

21. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Temporarily install the front seat cushion cover with pad to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

(b) Engage the hooks.

(e) Engage the 2 hooks.

22. INSTALL NO. 2 SEAT TRACK LOWER SPACER

(a) Install the No. 2 seat track lower spacer with the screw.

23. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD

(a) Insert the guide and temporarily install the front seat cushion inner shield as shown in the illustration.

(b) Engage the claw.

(c) Install the front seat cushion inner shield with the screw.

24. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Installation

25. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT TRACK LOWER SPACER

(a) Install the No. 1 seat track lower spacer with the 2 screws.

26. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Engage the 2 guides.

(b) Engage the claw.

(c) Install the front seat cushion shield with the 3 screws.

27. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE

(a) Install the vertical adjusting handle with the 2 screws.

28. INSTALL VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB CAP

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the vertical adjuster knob cap.

29. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

(a) Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster release handle.

30. INSTALL SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

(a) Install the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.
