2ZR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: CAMSHAFT OIL CONTROL VALVE: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER Removal

2. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY

(a) Exhaust camshaft side:

(1) Remove the bolt and the wire harness bracket.





(2) Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.





(3) Remove the bolt and the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly and separate the wire harness bracket.

(4) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.





(b) Intake camshaft side:

(1) Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.





(2) Remove the bolt and remove the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.

(3) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
