LIGHTING (INT): ROOM LIGHT: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY





(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





(b) If the result is not as specified, repair or replace harness or connector.

(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





(d) If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the harness or connector.

(e) Remove the wire harness from the room light assembly.

(f) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard Resistance:





(g) If the result is not as specified, replace the switch base.

(h) Connect a (+) lead from the battery to terminal B and a (-) lead to light busbar.

(i) Check that the light comes on.

OK:

The light comes on.

(k) If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb.
