1. GLASS HATCH OPENER SYSTEM

A glass hatch opener system opens the back window when the ignition key, inserted in the back door lock key cylinder, is operated.

(a) Lock operation function

The back door ECU opens the back window by transmitting signals to the back window lock, when the ignition key is held in the LOCK position of the back door lock key cylinder for 0.8 seconds or more.

HINT
The back door ECU terminates the rear wiper operation before the back window is opened if the rear wiper and rear washer operate.
