APPLICABILITY:
INTRODUCTION:
Some 2008 - 2011 model year Highlander and Highlander HV vehicles equipped with a Rear Lift Up Glass Hatch may exhibit a condition where the Rear Hatch Glass does not close properly. This may be due to one or both of the stay (strut) mount brackets becoming loose and rotating around the fastener that is attached to the glass. Please use the following repair information to correct this condition.
PRODUCTION CHANGE INFORMATION:
This TSB applies to ALL 2008 - 2009 model year Highlander and Highlander HV vehicles. The Production Change Effective table ONLY applies to the 2010 - 2011 model year vehicles produced BEFORE the following VIN breaks shown.

NOTE
Do not interchange glass with each WMI configuration.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Replace the Rear Hatch Glass to correct.
