Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

ENGINE IMMOBILISER: ENGINE IMMOBILISER SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Select the following menu items: Body Electrical / Smart Key / Trouble Codes.

(e) Check the details of the DTC(s) Engine Immobiliser System.

2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Select the following menu items: Body Electrical / Smart Key / Trouble Codes.

(e) Erase the DTCs.
