3MZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard resistance:





(b) If the result is not as specified, replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.

NOTICE:
When checking the engine coolant temperature sensor in water, do not allow water to enter the terminals. After checking, dry the engine coolant temperature sensor.
