Removal

3MZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: VVT SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE VVT SENSOR (for Bank 1)

(a) Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.

(b) Remove the bolt, and then remove the VVT sensor.

5. REMOVE VVT SENSOR (for Bank 2)

(a) Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector (Bank 2) from the wire harness bracket.

(b) Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.
