Removal





FRONT SUSPENSION: FRONT STABILIZER BAR (for 4WD): REMOVAL

1. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD

2. SECURE STEERING WHEEL Removal

3. REMOVE COLUMN HOLE COVER SILENCER SHEET Removal

4. SEPARATE NO. 2 STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT ASSEMBLY Removal

5. SEPARATE NO. 1 STEERING COLUMN HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE FRONT WHEELS

7. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

8. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

9. SEPARATE FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM LH Removal

10. SEPARATE FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM RH

HINT
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

11. LOOSEN FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET LH Removal

13. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET RH

HINT
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

14. SEPARATE STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY Removal

15. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

16. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR

(a) Remove the 2 nuts and front stabilizer bar from the front stabilizer link.





HINT
If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud bolt.

17. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the nut and the stabilizer link assembly LH from the front shock absorber with coil spring.

If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud bolt.

18. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

19. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING (for LH Side)

(a) Remove the No. 1 front stabilizer bar bushing from the front stabilizer bar.

20. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING (for RH Side)
