Applicability

Introduction

Some customers may complain about wind noise at highway speeds from the rear of the vehicle where the antenna is mounted. A modified antenna has been made available to improve this condition.

APPLICABLE WARRANTY

^ This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

^ Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Repair Procedure





1. Remove the roof antenna pole by turning it counterclockwise.





2. Install NEW roof antenna pole by turning it clockwise.

3. Test drive to confirm noise has been reduced.
