Reassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (w/ Seatback Board): REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER RH

(a) Engage the claw as shown in the illustration.

(b) Engage the claw and install the front seat outer track bracket cover RH as shown in the illustration.

2. INSTALL SEAT TRACK CONTROL CABLE CLAMP RH

(a) Engage the clamp and install the seat track control cable clamp RH.

3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE

(a) Engage the 8 clamps and install the front seat wire.

4. INSTALL SEAT POSITION SENSOR RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side Installation.

5. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the screw.

6. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the screw.

7. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the screw.

8. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the screw.

9. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER RH

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover RH with 12 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
10. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD RH

(a) Engage the hooks and install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad RH to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR

(a) Install the 2 front seat cushion edge protectors.

12. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT RH

(a) Temporarily install the active headrest lower unit RH with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

(b) Install the active headrest lower unit with a new clamp.

13. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST UPPER UNIT RH

(a) Install the active headrest upper unit RH with the 4 nuts.

Torque : 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the cable to the active headrest upper unit RH with the nut as shown in the illustration.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER RH

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover RH with 4 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
15. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH

(a) Temporarily install the separate type front seatback cover with pad RH to the front seatback frame assembly RH.

(b) Engage the 4 claws and install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
(d) Engage the hook and install the separate type front seatback cover with pad RH.

(e) Install the front seatback cover bracket with the nut.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

16. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK HANDLE ROD

(a) Temporarily install the front seatback lock handle rod.

17. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HINGE COVER RH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the front seat hinge cover RH.

18. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Install the 2 bolts and the front seatback lock sub-assembly RH.

Torque : 43 Nm (439 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HINGE COVER LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the front seat hinge cover LH.

20. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the 2 bolts and the front seatback lock sub-assembly LH.

Torque : 43 Nm (439 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

21. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD

(a) Install the 2 clips.

(b) Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

(c) Engage the 2 clips and install the front seatback board.

22. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Install the 4 bolts and the front seatback assembly RH.

Torque : 43 Nm (439 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

(b) Engage the 2 clamps and connect the side airbag wire harness.

23. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD RH

(a) Install the side airbag wire harness to the front seatback shield RH as shown in the illustration.

(b) Engage the guide and the 2 claws.

(c) Install the front seatback shield RH with the screw.

24. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD LH

(a) Engage the guide and the 2 claws.

(b) Install the front seatback shield LH with the screw.

25. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

(a) Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster release handle RH.

26. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

(a) Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster release handle LH.

27. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT TRACK LOWER SPACER RH

(a) Install the No. 1 seat track lower spacer RH with the 2 screws.

28. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

(a) Install the clip.

(b) Engage the guide.

(c) Engage the clip.

(d) Engage the claw.

(e) Install the front seat cushion shield RH with the screw.

29. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

(a) Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster release handle RH.

30. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD RH

(a) Insert the guide and temporarily install the front seat cushion inner shield RH.

(b) Engage the claw.

(c) Install the front seat cushion inner shield RH with the screw.

(d) Engage the 2 hooks and install the front seatback cover to the seat cushion spring assembly.

31. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side Installation.

32. INSTALL SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

(a) Install the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.
