DESCRIPTION
Each of the smart key system's warning uses the warning buzzer in the combination meter to alert the driver.
The combination meter repeatedly sounds the warning buzzer when one of the following occurs: 1) the activation conditions for the smart key system warning are met, or 2) the certification ECU sends a warning buzzer signal via the CAN communication line to the combination meter (meter ECU).

1. CHECK WHETHER ENGINE STARTS
(a) Check that the engine starts.
HINT
The engine starts when the correct warning buzzer signal is transmitted from the steering lock ECU to the combination meter.
OK:
Engine starts.
Result

2. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY (OPERATION)
(a) Place the door control transmitter in an undetectable area outside the vehicle, and turn the engine switch on (IG) with all doors closed.
OK:
Warning buzzer sounds once.

OK -- REPLACE ECU AGGREGATION BOX (CERTIFICATION ECU) Removal
