MIRROR: OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR: REMOVAL

HINT
* Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
* The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH Disassembly

2. REMOVE FRONT UPPER ARMREST BASE PANEL LH Disassembly

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Disassembly

4. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the mirror connector labeled A.

(b) Remove the 3 screws.

(c) Remove the outer rear view mirror.

5. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws.

HINT
Apply protective tape to the mirror body.

(b) w/ Mirror Heater:

(1) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(2) Remove the mirror.

(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 8 claws and remove the mirror cover.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

7. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR COVER LOWER LH (for TMC Made)

(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 6 claws and remove the mirror cover lower.
