Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

LIGHTING: LIGHTING SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on.

(c) Select the following menu items: Body Electrical / Main Body / Trouble Codes.

(d) Check DTCs and then write them down.

Refer to the Techstream operator's manual for further details.

(e) Confirm the details of the DTCs Lighting System.

2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON (do not start the engine) and turn the Techstream on.

(c) Select the following menu items: Body Electrical / Main Body / Trouble Codes.

(d) Erase the DTCs.
