Radiator Cooling Fan Control Module: Testing and Inspection

2GR-FE COOLING: COOLING FAN ECU: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. CHECK COOLING FAN ECU (w/o Trailer Towing System)





(a) Disconnect the B12 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

Standard voltage:





Standard resistance:





(c) If the result is not as specified, inspect the power source system (fusible link, fuse, wire harness and relay).

(d) Connect the B12 ECU connector.

2. CHECK COOLING FAN ECU (w/ Trailer Towing System)





(a) Disconnect the B10 and B11 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

Standard voltage:





Standard resistance:





(c) If the result is not as specified, inspect the power source system (fusible link, fuse, wire harness and relay).

(d) Connect the B10 and B11 ECU connector.
