Headlamp Wiper Switch: Testing and Inspection

WIPER / WASHER: HEADLIGHT CLEANER SWITCH: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT HEAD LIGHT CLEANER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard Resistance:





(b) If the result is not as specified, replace the head light cleaner switch.

(c) Check the illumination operation.





(1) Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 7 (Ill+) and the negative (-) battery lead to terminal 6 (Ill-), and then check that the illumination illuminates.

OK:

Illumination illuminates.

(2) If the illumination does not illuminate, replace the head light cleaner switch.
