Oil Cooler: Testing and Inspection
1UR-FE LUBRICATION: ENGINE OIL COOLER: INSPECTION
1. INSPECT OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY
(a) Check the oil cooler for damage or clogging.
If necessary, replace the oil cooler assembly.
2. INSPECT OIL PUMP RELIEF VALVE
(a) Coat the relief valve with engine oil.
(b) Check that the relief valve falls smoothly into the valve hole by its own weight.
If the relief valve is not as specified, replace it. If necessary, replace the oil filter bracket.
