Reverse Signal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The navigation receiver assembly receives a reverse signal from the park/neutral position switch assembly and information about the GPS antenna, and then adjusts the vehicle position.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (DISPLAY CHECK MODE)

(a) Enter the "Display Check" mode and select "Vehicle Signal Check" Operation Check.





(b) Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the shift lever operation.

HINT
This display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual shift lever operation.

2. CHECK NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard Voltage:





NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)

OK -- REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Removal

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)

(a) Disconnect the I6 navigation receiver assembly connector.





(b) Disconnect the D21 park/neutral position switch assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the D21 park/neutral position switch assembly.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

E -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

D -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

C -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal

B -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

A -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
