How to Proceed With Troubleshooting
NAVIGATION / MULTI INFO DISPLAY: NAVIGATION SYSTEM (w/o USB Audio System): HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING
HINT
Use these procedures to troubleshoot the navigation system.
1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Standard voltage:
11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
3. BASIC INSPECTION
(a) Turn the ignition switch to ACC.
(b) Check whether or not the display appears on the navigation receiver assembly.
B -- Go to step 6
A -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output Navigation System (w/o USB Audio System).
(b) Clear the DTCs.
(c) Recheck for DTCs. Based on the DTCs output in the first step, try to force output of the navigation system DTCs by simulating the condition indicated by the DTCs.
HINT
* Even if the malfunction symptom is not confirmed, check for DTCs as the system stores past DTCs.
* Refer to the detailed description on the diagnostic screen as necessary Operation Check.
* Check and clear past diagnostic trouble codes. Check the diagnostic trouble code and inspect the area the code indicates.

5. PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE

6. OVERALL ANALYSIS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
(a) Terminals of ECU Navigation System (w/o USB Audio System).
(b) Inspect the front No. 1 speaker assembly Front Door Speaker.
(c) Inspect the front No. 2 speaker assembly Instrument Panel Speaker.
(d) Inspect the rear No. 1 speaker assembly Rear Door Speaker.
(e) Inspect the quarter side speaker assembly Luggage Speaker.
