DESCRIPTION
After confirming that the transfer is in the L4 position will be activated according to the vehicle conditions Vehicle Stability Control System (for Vacuum Brake Booster).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration Vehicle Stability Control System (for Vacuum Brake Booster).
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT TRANSFER INDICATOR SWITCH (L4 POSITION)
(a) Disconnect the transfer indicator switch (L4 position) connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE TRANSFER INDICATOR SWITCH (L4 POSITION)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - TRANSFER INDICATOR SWITCH (L4 POSITION))
(a) Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.
(b) Disconnect the transfer indicator switch (L4 position) connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CONFIRM DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Vehicle Stability Control System (for Vacuum Brake Booster).
(b) Check if the same DTCs are recorded.
