DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to the stereo component amplifier assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FUSES (RADIO NO. 2, ACC)

(a) Remove the RADIO NO. 2 fuse from the engine room relay block.

(b) Remove the ACC fuse from the main body ECU.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

(d) Install the fuses.

NG -- REPLACE FUSES
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the S23, S24 and S31 stereo component amplifier assembly connectors.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

(d) Reconnect the stereo component amplifier assembly connectors.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Problem Symptoms Table
