SEAT BELT: REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Double Cab): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) Check the amount of inclination required to lock the ELR.





(1) Gently incline the retractor from its initial position. Check that the belt does not lock when the retractor is inclined 15° or less in any directions. Also check that the belt locks when the inclination of the retractor is 45° or more.

NOTICE:
Do not disassemble the retractor.

(b) Align the retractor with the positioning hooks of the rear seat back frame and install the retractor with the bolt.





Torque : 42 Nm (430 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

(c) Insert the belt through the hole into the rear seat back frame.

(d) Install the rear seat belt inner and floor anchor of the rear seat belt outer center with the bolts.





Torque : 42 Nm (430 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
* Make sure that the rear seat inner belt and floor anchor of the rear center seat outer belt are oriented in the correct direction when installing.
* Be careful not to place the rear seat inner belt (and floor anchor of the rear center seat outer belt) over the convex areas of the floor panel.
