Reassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): REASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame and adjuster may injure your hands.

HINT
* Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
* The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation

2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE LH

3. INSTALL SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR Installation

4. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Attach the claw to install the ECU.

(b) Connect the 2 ECU connectors.

5. INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System or Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Attach the claw to install the seat heater control.

(b) Attach the clamp and connect the seat heater control connector.

6. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Lumbar Support Adjuster)

(a) Attach the 3 claws to install the bush.

(b) Install the lumbar support adjuster with the 2 screws.

(1) Attach the 6 hooks to install the seatback spring.

(2) Install the 2 springs.

(e) w/ Climate Control Seat System:

(1) Attach the 4 hooks to install the seatback spring.

(2) Install the 4 springs.

7. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the seat cushion climate control blower by pushing it forward.

(b) Bend the bracket closed.

(c) Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, install the "TORX" screw.

Torque : 2.6 Nm (27 kgf-cm, 23 in-lbf)

(d) Connect the connector.

8. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL DUCT LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the seat cushion climate control duct.

(b) Attach the 2 clamps (B).

(c) Attach the 2 clamps (A).

9. INSTALL NO. 2 SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL COVER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Attach the 6 clamps to install the seatback climate control cover.

10. INSTALL SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Install the seatback climate control cover.

(b) Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, install the seatback climate control blower with the 2 "TORX" screws.

(c) Attach the connector.

11. INSTALL NO. 1 SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL COVER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, install the seatback climate control cover with the 4 "TORX" screws.

(b) Attach the 2 clamps and connect the connector.

12. INSTALL LOWER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

(a) Attach the hook to install the cushion shield.

(b) Install the screw.

13. INSTALL LOWER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

(a) Attach the hook to install the cushion shield.

(b) Install the screw.

14. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD RH

(a) Attach the claw to install the seatback shield.

(b) Install the 2 screws.

(c) Attach the wire harness clamp.

15. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD LH

(a) Attach the claw to install the seatback shield.

(b) Install the 2 screws.

16. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster inside cover.

(b) Install the screw.

17. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster inside cover.

(b) Install the screw.

18. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System or Climate Control Seat System)

(a) w/ Seat Heater System:

Set the seatback heater with the name stamp side facing the seatback cover.

(b) Install the seatback heater with new tack pins.

(c) w/ Climate Control Seat System:

Set the seatback heater with the name stamp side facing the seatback cover.

(d) Install the seatback heater with new tack pins.

19. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER LH

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
(b) Connect the seatback cover bracket to the seatback pad.

(d) Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seatback pad.

20. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH

(a) Install the seatback cover with pad to the seatback frame.

(b) Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seat frame.

(d) Install the seatback cover bracket to the seat frame with the nut.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

CAUTION:
After the seatback trim cover is assembled, make sure the side airbag strap is not twisted.

(e) Install the seatback cover wires.

(f) Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seat frame.

(g) Attach the hook.

21. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System or Climate Control Seat System)

(a) w/ Seat Heater System:

Set the seat cushion heater with the name stamp side facing the seat cushion cover.

(b) Install the seat cushion heater with new tack pins.

(c) w/ Climate Control Seat System:

Set the seat cushion heater with the name stamp side facing the seat cushion cover.

(d) Install the seat cushion heater with new tack pins.

22. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH

(a) w/o Leg Support Adjustment Switch:

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
(b) w/ Leg Support Adjustment Switch:

Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

23. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD LH

(a) w/o Leg Support Adjustment Switch:

(1) Attach the hooks to install the seat cushion cover with pad.

(2) Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.

(3) Bend the 2 seat frame claws downward.

(b) w/ Leg Support Adjustment Switch:

(1) Install the seat cushion cover with pad to the seat frame.

(2) Install the seat cushion cover wire.

(3) Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings and attach the hooks.

HINT
When installing the leg support hog rings, press the seat cushion cover with pad against the seat frame.

(c) Attach the wire harness clamp.

(d) w/ Seat Heater System or Climate Control Seat System:

(1) Connect the seat heater control connector and attach the 2 wire harness clamps.

(2) Connect the seat heater connector and attach the 2 wire harness clamps.

(e) Install the 2 clips.

24. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH

(a) Install the switch with the 3 screws.

(b) Connect the 2 switch connectors.

(c) w/o Seat Position Memory System:

Connect the switch connector.

25. INSTALL INNER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

(a) Attach the 2 claws and clip to install the cushion shield.

(b) Install the screw.

26. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Installation

27. INSTALL LEG SUPPORT ADJUSTMENT SWITCH (w/ Leg Support Adjustment Switch)

(a) Connect the switch connector.

(b) Install the switch with the 2 screws.

(c) Attach the 2 wire harness clamps.

28. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT LUMBAR SWITCH LH (w/ Lumbar Support Adjuster)

(a) Install the switch with the 2 screws.

29. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

(a) Connect the switch connectors.

(b) Attach the 2 claws to install the cushion shield.

(c) Install the 3 screws.

(d) Install the 2 screws.

(e) Using hog ring pliers, install the rubber band of the seatback cover to the seat frame with new hog rings.

30. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the knob.

31. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the knob.
