SEAT: REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for CrewMax LH Side): DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat cushion spring and seatback frame may injure your hands.

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD LH

(a) Remove the hog rings and rubber bands of the seatback cover from the seat frame.





(b) Remove the bolt and seat belts.





(c) Detach the hooks and remove the seat cushion cover (with pad).

2. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER LH

(a) Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.

3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION MOULDING REAR LH





(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Detach the 2 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and then remove the moulding.

4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION MOULDING REAR RH





(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Detach the 2 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and then remove the moulding.

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD LH





(a) Remove the 4 screws.

(b) Detach the 5 clips and remove the seatback board.

7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER





(a) Detach the 8 claws and remove the 2 covers.

8. REMOVE REAR SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 3 nuts and armrest.

9. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH

10. REMOVE CENTER REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

11. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT





(a) Detach the 8 claws and remove the 4 supports.

12. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER LH





(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

13. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.





(b) Disconnect the cable in the order shown in the illustration, and remove the lever.





14. REMOVE LOWER REAR SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Remove the hog rings and lower cover.

15. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH





(a) Detach the 4 claws and remove the bezel.

(b) Detach the hooks.





(c) Remove the hog rings and the seatback cover (with pad).





16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH

(a) Remove the hog rings and seatback cover from the seatback pad.

17. REMOVE CENTER UPPER LINK COVER





(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Detach the 2 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and then remove the cover.

18. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 3 bolts.

(b) Using a T45 "TORX" socket, remove the 3 bolts and 3 bushes. Then remove the seat cushion spring.





19. REMOVE CENTER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER





(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Detach the hook and claw, and then remove the cover.

20. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE COVER





(a) Remove the 2 screws and cover.

21. REMOVE INNER REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER LH





(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

22. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH





(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Detach the claw and remove the cover.

23. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION MOULDING LH





(a) Remove the 3 screws.

(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the moulding.

24. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Using a T55 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts.

(b) Using a T45 "TORX" socket, remove the 3 bolts.

(c) Remove the bolt and seatback frame.





25. REMOVE INNER REAR SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER





(a) Remove the screw and cover.

26. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION SUPPORT ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 6 nuts and cushion support.

27. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK REINFORCEMENT LH

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and reinforcement.

28. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER Removal

29. REMOVE CENTER REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY Removal

30. REMOVE SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Disconnect the 2 cables and remove the control cable from the seatback frame.
