Reset
    Oil Change Reminder Lamp
      Perform at mileage interval or every 6 months whichever occurs first. Reset the oil replacement reminder ("MAINT REQD") light after replacing engine oil, if vehicle is equipped with this light.
Tighten/Torque
    Body and Frame
      Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis and body. Perform at mileage interval or 6 months, whichever comes first. Perform in case of driving on dirt roads or dusty roads, or in case of driving while towing.
Inspect
    Steering
      Perform at mileage interval or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Check for excessive freeplay in the steering wheel. Inspect the linkage for bending and damage and dust boots for deterioration, cracks and damage.
    Drum Brake System
      Perform at mileage interval or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Inspect brake shoes and drums for scoring, burning, fluid leakage, broken parts and excessive wear.
    Disc Brake System
      Inspect pads and discs for excessive wear at mileage interval or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Measure thickness and disc runout every 30,000 miles or 36 months.
    Ball Joint
      Perform at mileage interval or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Check the suspension and steering linkage ball joints for looseness and damage. Check all dust covers for deterioration and damage.
    Air Filter Element
      Perform at mileage interval or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
Replace
    Oil Filter, Engine
      Perform at mileage interval or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
    Engine Oil
      Perform at mileage interval or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
    Coolant
      Initial replacement at 100,000 miles or 120 months, whichever comes first. Replace every 50,000 miles or every 60 months thereafter, whichever comes first. Drain and refill the cooling system with ethylene-glycol type coolant. Inspect hoses and connections for corrosion and leaks.
Rotate
    Tires
      Perform at mileage interval or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Rotate tires. Check for damage and uneven wear.
