DESCRIPTION
* If the driver side manual UP/DOWN function does not operate, there may be a malfunction in master switch, driver side motor or harness and connector.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the motor Removal.
(b) Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.
(c) Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.
OK:
NG -- REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MASTER SWITCH - DRIVER SIDE MOTOR)
(a) Disconnect the N2 master switch connector.
(b) Disconnect the N3 motor connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
for Regular Cab:
for Double Cab:
for CrewMax:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the master switch Removal.
(b) Reconnect the master switch connector.
(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
for Regular Cab:
for Double Cab:
for CrewMax:
NG -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- GO TO POWER WINDOWS DO NOT OPERATE AT ALL Power Windows do not Operate at All
