DESCRIPTION
When the volume of washer fluid decreases below a certain level (when the washer fluid level warning switch is turned ON), the combination meter warns the driver through the master warning light illumination, and the warning message on the multi-information display*.

PROCEDURE
1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (WASHER FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH)
(a) Check the Data List for proper functioning of the washer fluid level warning switch.
Combination Meter
OK:
On screen, each item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart.
NG -- CHECK WASHER FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
2. CHECK WASHER FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the A27 switch connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE WASHER FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WASHER FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH - COMBINATION METER)
(a) Disconnect the A27 switch connector.
(b) Disconnect the J28 meter connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY Components
