2TR-FE BATTERY / CHARGING: GENERATOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the generator with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the generator wire to terminal B with the nut.

Torque : 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)

(c) Install the terminal cap.

(d) Connect the generator connector.

2. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT Installation

3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER AND HOSE Installation

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
