Side Airbag Sensor LH Circuit Malfunction - Airbag System
SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: AIRBAG SYSTEM: B1625/22: Side Airbag Sensor LH Circuit Malfunction
B1625/22 - Side Airbag Sensor LH Circuit Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
The side airbag sensor LH circuit consists of the center airbag sensor assembly, side airbag sensor LH and rear airbag sensor LH.
The side airbag sensor LH and rear airbag sensor LH detect impacts to the vehicle and send signals to the center airbag sensor assembly to determine if the airbag should be deployed.
DTC B1625/22 is recorded when a malfunction is detected in the side airbag sensor LH circuit.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK CONNECTORS
(a) Turn the ignition switch off.
(b) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
(c) Check that the connectors are properly connected to the center airbag sensor assembly, side airbag sensor LH and rear airbag sensor LH.
OK:
The connectors are properly connected.
HINT
If the connectors are not connected securely, reconnect the connectors and proceed to the next inspection.
(d) Disconnect the connectors from the center airbag sensor assembly, side airbag sensor LH and rear airbag sensor LH.
(e) Check that the terminals of the connectors are not damaged.
OK:
