DESCRIPTION
The clock assembly receives a reverse signal from the park/neutral position switch assembly.

PROCEDURE
1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REVERSE SIGNAL)
(a) Disconnect the E11 clock assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
(1) Proceed to the next step based on the check result.
Result:
C -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLOCK ASSEMBLY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
B -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLOCK ASSEMBLY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
A -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Rear View Monitor System (w/o Navigation System)
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLOCK ASSEMBLY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
(a) Disconnect the E11 clock assembly connector and B5 park/neutral position switch assembly connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
Proceed to the next step based on the check result.
Result:
C -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
B -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for U151E) Removal
A -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for U151F)
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLOCK ASSEMBLY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
(a) Disconnect the E11 clock assembly connector and B5 park/neutral position switch assembly connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for U760E)
