DESCRIPTION

The inner rear view mirror assembly receives a reverse shift position signal from the BK/UP relay.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK BACK-UP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

(a) Move the shift lever to R and check if the back-up light comes on.

OK:

The back-up light comes on.

NG -- GO TO LIGHTING SYSTEM How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (REV)

(a) Disconnect the U7 connector from the inner rear view mirror assembly.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
