Installation

ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the cable to the clamps, wire harness protector and wire harness grommet as shown in the illustration.





2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the cable to the lever.





(b) Attach the 3 claws to install the lever.

3. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the cable to the lock.





(b) Install the lock with the 3 bolts.





Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(c) Adjust the lock.

(d) w/ Hood courtesy switch:

Connect the connector.

4. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER Installation

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
