BRAKE CONTROL: VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM: C1442,C1443: Invalid Data Received from Acceleration Sensor
C1443 - Invalid Data Received from Yaw Rate Sensor

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU receives signals from the yaw rate and deceleration sensor via the CAN communication system.

The yaw rate sensor has a built-in deceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition.

Refer to DTC C1440 C1440.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When replacing the yaw rate sensor assembly, perform zero point calibration Calibration.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(c) Start and idle the engine for 60 seconds, and then stop the engine.

(d) Check if the same DTC is output Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
