Installation
HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: CONDENSER (w/o Air Cooled Transmission Oil Cooler): INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the cooler condenser with the 2 bolts, as shown in the illustration.
Torque : 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)
NOTICE:
Do not damage the cooler condenser when installing the condenser.
HINT
If a new cooler condenser is installed, add compressor oil to the condenser as follows.
Capacity:
Add 40 cc (1.35 fl. oz.)
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL8 or equivalent.
2. CONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the attached vinyl tape from the pipe and the connecting part of the cooler condenser.
(b) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the pipe joint.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(c) Install the O-ring on to the air conditioning tube.
(d) Connect the air conditioning tube on to the cooler condenser with the 2 bolts.
Torque : 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)
3. CONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE
(a) Remove the attached vinyl tape from the hose and the connecting part of the cooler condenser.
(b) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the hose joint.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(c) Install the O-ring on to the discharge hose.
(d) Connect the discharge hose on to the cooler condenser with the bolt.
Torque : 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)
4. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY (for 1UR-FE)
(a) Install the radiator assembly Installation.
5. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY (for 3UR-FE)
(a) Install the radiator assembly Installation.
6. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY (for 3UR-FBE)
Install the radiator assembly Installation.
7. CHARGE REFRIGERANT Service and Repair
8. WARM UP ENGINE Service and Repair
9. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK Service and Repair
