Exterior Lighting System





LIGHTING (EXT): LIGHTING SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU





(a) Disconnect the DD, H2, H3 and H4 main body ECU connectors.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the DD, H2, H3, and H4 main body ECU connectors.

(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU may have a malfunction.

(e) Waveform 1 (Reference) : Using an oscilloscope

2. CHECK OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU





(a) Disconnect the M7 and M8 outer mirror control ECU connectors.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the M7 and M8 outer mirror control ECU connectors.

(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

(e) Waveform 1 (Reference) : Using an oscilloscope
