Installation

REAR SUSPENSION: REAR STABILIZER BAR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BUSH

(a) Install the 2 bushes to the outer side of the bush stoppers on the rear stabilizer bar.

HINT
Install the bush so that the cutout faces the rear of the vehicle.

2. TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BAR

(a) Temporarily install the rear stabilizer bar with the 4 bolts.

3. TIGHTEN REAR STABILIZER BRACKET





(a) Install the rear stabilizer bar with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 27 Nm (275 kgf-cm, 20 ft-lbf)

4. TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Temporarily install the rear stabilizer link with the 2 nuts.

5. TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

6. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY (for 2WD)

Installation

7. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY (for 4WD) Installation

8. REMOVE TRANSFER HEAT INSULATOR (for 4WD) Installation

9. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT HEAT INSULATOR (for 4WD) Installation

10. INSTALL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY TAIL (for 3UR-FE) Installation

11. INSTALL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY TAIL (for 3UR-FBE) Installation

12. INSTALL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY TAIL (for 1UR-FE) Installation

13. STABILIZE SUSPENSION Installation

14. TIGHTEN REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the rear stabilizer link with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 98 Nm (999 kgf-cm, 72 ft-lbf)

15. TIGHTEN REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
