AXLE AND DIFFERENTIAL: REAR AXLE HUB: DISASSEMBLY

NOTICE:
Do not allow foreign matter, etc. to contact the ABS rotor bearing.

1. REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Gently fix the rear axle hub in a vise.





NOTICE:
Do not damage the threads of the hub bolts.

(b) Using SST, remove the bearing.

(c) If part of the bearing remains in the rear axle hub, use SST to remove it.

2. REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB LH OIL SEAL

(a) Using a screwdriver, pry the oil seal.
