Power Steering Pressure Switch: Testing and Inspection





1GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SWITCH: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SWITCH

(a) Check the oil pressure switch.

(1) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(2) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(3) Turn the Techstream on.

(4) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Power Steering Switch.

(5) Start the engine.

(6) Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

OK:





If the result is not as specified, check the wire harness and connector. If the wire harness and connector are normal, replace the power steering oil pressure switch.
