ENGINE IMMOBILISER: CERTIFICATION ECU (w/ Smart Key System): INSTALLATION

NOTICE:
When installing the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly), eliminate static electricity by touching the vehicle body to prevent the components from being damaged.

1. INSTALL CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)

(a) Install the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) as shown in the illustration.





NOTICE:
Be careful when installing the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly). If the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) is dropped, replace it with a new one.

(b) Engage the 2 claws to install the ECU aggregation cover.

(c) Connect each connector.

2. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL RH Installation

3. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

6. REGISTER ECU COMMUNICATION ID

NOTICE:
When replacing the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly), perform initialization Registration.

7. REGISTER KEY
