2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
2. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT Removal
3. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY Removal
4. DISCONNECT COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY Removal
5. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and crankshaft position sensor.
