SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

CAUTION:
Be sure to read the "PRECAUTION" thoroughly before servicing Service Precautions.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working.

3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER Removal

5. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX FRONT Removal

7. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX DUCT NO.1

8. REMOVE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the holder (with connectors) from the center airbag sensor assembly.





(b) Remove the 3 bolts and the center airbag sensor assembly.
