Remote Engine Starter System

THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: REMOTE ENGINE STARTER SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK REMOTE ENGINE STARTER ECU DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Remote Engine Starter / Trouble Codes.

(e) Check the details of the DTC(s) Remote Engine Starter System.

2. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Key / Trouble Codes.

(e) Check the details of the DTC(s) Remote Engine Starter System.

3. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Trouble Codes.

(e) Check the details of the DTC(s) Remote Engine Starter System.

4. CLEAR REMOTE ENGINE STARTER ECU DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Remote Engine Starter / Trouble Codes.

(e) Clear the DTCs.

5. CLEAR CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Key / Trouble Codes.

(e) Clear the DTCs.

6. CLEAR MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Trouble Codes.

(e) Clear the DTCs.
