INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
After replacing the radio and display receiver assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, XM radio ID registration is necessary (w/ SDARS System).

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK CONDITION

(a) Check if the system voice recognition level is low when recognizing a particular voice.

Result:





HINT
System voice recognition level varies depending on voice and pronunciation. This is not a malfunction.

2. CHECK MICROPHONE AND VOICE RECOGNITION (OPERATION CHECK)

(a) Enter the "Microphone & Voice Recognition Check" screen. Refer to Check Mic & Voice Recognition in Operation Check. Operation Check





(b) When voice is input into the microphone, check that the microphone input level meter changes according to the input voice.

(c) Push the recording switch and perform voice recording (w/ Voice Switch of Steering Pad Switch Assembly).

OK:

All check results are normal.
