HINT
* Centering bolts are used to mount the door hinge to the door. The door cannot be adjusted with the centering bolts installed. Substitute the centering bolts with standard bolts when making adjustments.
* Specified torque for standard bolts is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.
1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER Disassembly
2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT Removal
3. REMOVE BAGGAGE HOLDER NET (w/ Partition Net) Removal
4. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Removal
5. ADJUST LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR
(a) Loosen the door side hinge bolts to adjust the door horizontally and vertically.
Torque : 7.5 Nm (77 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)
(b) Using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench, slightly loosen the striker mounting screws.
(c) Using a brass bar and a hammer, hit the striker to adjust its position.
(d) Using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench, tighten the striker mounting screws after adjustment.
Torque : 23 Nm (235 kgf-cm, 17 ft-lbf)
6. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Installation
7. INSTALL BAGGAGE HOLDER NET (w/ Partition Net) Installation
8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT Installation
9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER Reassembly
10. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR
(a) Check that the clearance measurements of areas a through d are within each standard range.
