Removal

2AR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: CAMSHAFT OIL CONTROL VALVE: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. SEPARATE ENGINE WIRE

(a) Remove the 2 nuts and separate the engine wire.





3. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY

(a) Camshaft timing oil control valve assembly (for exhaust side)

(1) Disconnect the oil control valve connector.





(2) Remove the bolt and oil control valve.

(3) Remove the O-ring from the oil control valve.

(1) Disconnect the oil control valve connector.





(2) Remove the bolt and oil control valve.

(3) Remove the O-ring from the oil control valve.
