APPLICABILITY:

INTRODUCTION:

Some 2012 model year vehicles equipped with the Denso Premium HDD AVN Radio may exhibit one or more of the following conditions:

^ When the audio preset switches are depressed the radio will not properly respond to switch commands.

^ After moving the shifter from Reverse to Drive the display is stuck on the back-up camera screen.

Follow the procedures in this bulletin to replace the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to address these conditions.





PRODUCTION CHANGE INFORMATION:

This TSB applies to vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VIN shown.

REQUIRED TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:

REPAIR PROCEDURE:





1. Confirm that the vehicle is equipped with an AVN (HDD type head unit).

2. Confirm the condition.

3. Order a replacement Hard Disk Drive (HDD) through the Denso Sales Canada Inc., exchange program, and replace the HDD.

Refer to the applicable model and model year Repair Manual within E-TAS/TIS library:

^ 2012 Camry / Camry HV / Prius V:

4. Confirm the repair
