DOOR LOCK: UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Service Precautions.

2. ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER Removal

5. REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER Removal

6. REMOVE TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER Removal

7. REMOVE IGNITION SWITCH LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY Disassembly

8. REMOVE UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the unlock warning switch assembly by pushing up the center part and releasing the 2 claws.
