DESCRIPTION

Turning this switch on activates the Intuitive parking assist system.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT BACK SONAR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Inspect the back sonar switch assembly Testing and Inspection.

NG -- REPLACE BACK SONAR SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BACK SONAR SWITCH ASSEMBLY - CLEARANCE WARNING ECU)

(a) Disconnect the E12 back sonar switch assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the E80 clearance warning ECU connector.

(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





(e) Reconnect the back sonar switch connector.

(f) Reconnect the clearance warning ECU connector.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. INSPECT CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the clearance warning ECU with its connector still connected.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:

(c) Reinstall the clearance warning ECU.
